It was bound to happen eventually, and I am kind of glad it happened early.
It reminds me of when I was 13, maybe a month or so after my bar mitzvah. I had recently purchased my forever guitar - my illustrious PRS Custom 22 that I affectionately think of as Amber.
It must have been a few weeks after just getting it - and for the life of me I cannot remember how (t doesn't matter too much, I was the epitome of a klutz during my growing years, and still a bit today), but the guitar left my grasp - I dropped it or it somehow fell. The point is it got a dang chip in its 10-top wood finish. I felt devastated, but one of my parents - I can't remember who (god, if my awful memory weren't such a theme, I probably wouldn't have this website) told me, that at least now I never have to worry about dinging it up.
It's the same for skipping a day of posting.
Anyway here's Amber.
A few hours later...
I'm tried of the site not updating - not even within a reasonable timeframe. I am moving the site over to github for now, which is relatively as easy to manage as neocities. Let's see how it works. If you're reading this, at some point it must have been a success. Unless there is a follow up to this post.
30 minutes later
Great Scott! I believe we've done it. The site is working as intended... we will see for how long. Maybe we will return to neocities, but today is not the day. I'll be heading to Atlanta, we'll see how easy it is to update the website when "on the road."
📖 Reading: The Bobiverse Series.
🎮 Playing: Overwatch 2: Overwatch 1 Edition. It is 2016 all over again.
💻 Working on: Actual work. I need to finish grading some papers.
🤔 Thinking about: If you build it will they come?
