Obsidian Draws Closer

I think I am barely getting Obsidian to integrate with neocities in a way that's going to be fulfilling. I am doing my best to separate the content and the style - so that I may focus on each with as much attention as possible without getting distracted by the other.

Basically my goal is pretty simple:

  1. Be able to generate content easily within obsidian. This guarantees some form of easy back-up, retrieval, and portability of content - regardless of the medium where it ends up.
  2. Be able to play around with and learn css fairly easily, focusing on making a website that feels fun to muck around in and to visit from time to time.

It's really all in the service of wanting a place to just focus on my ideas while also doing some productive show-and-not-tell. I think that's natural - we all feel more comfortable in our own homes, and I need a digital one.

Hopefully the weblog is working. If not you can check on yesterday's post here.

Oh and this whole thing would not be possible without Nathan George and his Obsidian to HTML community plug-in. Thank goodness for the community. I will buy him a coffee or two.
