2024-11-30 - music for programming

I love when a website feels like personal discovery. I was scrolling through my Facebook (not the website I was necessarily referring to, but I suppose it does begin the story, so in way, they Zuck got me there - but this is not discovery as much as reading one's own journal is "discovery," so you know what, nevermind - I haven't been Zucked. Parenthetical OVER!), ruminating about what may be lost if I should delete the dang thing (Facebook, sorry the aside was so long you may have forgotten what the "thing "is, when I found an unassuming post from September 8, 2016.

It was just a link to

Which is a worthwhile site on its own. So much that it's inspired a best sites list. I will leave it to you to explore. There are some great playlists there, which inspires me as an offshoot site on its own, just dedicated to some quality themed playlists.

Music for programming led me to it's author's site, which led to their bandcamp, and specifically this song, which I have been looping while writing this.

I got back from Thanksgiving times with the fam. Good times. Jeff and I made good progress in first steps of collaborating on a project. He's dissecting some python code and I am doing some Stripe integration stuff. Ensuring that everyone is clear on what the enterprise does is crucial to preventing any kind of de-platforming (primarily with the bu$iness folks).

Anyway - I didn't test uploading (or even writing) a blog post while with the family, but perhaps for the next trip around.

Until then...
